A friend of mine who lives in South Africa met a guy from the USA on a christian penpal site.?
She's been in contact with him and internet "dating" him for the last year. They are talking about getting married in October when he will visit her in South Africa. Do they need to petition a fiancee visa for her first, or can they get married and then petition a spousal visa. Will there be problems because they have never met in person yet? They are really serious and very much in love. Please help. They talk every day through Yahoo messanger and see each other on the webcam. A friend that enter the U.S with a visa B1 and over stayed?
i have a friend from Chile he overstayed here he has a visa B1 but over stayed he was about 12 years old with his family, however his parents never used welfare, or anything like that, in fact they are tax payers, his family including him have an IRS and they give money to numerous organizations etc. is there a way i can help him.

Let's just say for the fun of it that the illegals here now were granted some type of visa.Not citizenship but a visa.This visa would be tied into a National data base that could be utilized by Law Enforcement,Social Services,Employers,Housing etc.It would be a picture I D much like a drivers license which could be compared also via the web site data base.Do you think this would be an excellent way to keep track of visa overstayers as a flag would come up on the persons file?I wouldn't oppose it would you?

A non bipartisan argument for once?
Since I am pro immigration, this post will be biased a little lol but ill try to stay netural. Aight so we got people screaming "Deport them all" and we got people screaming "Amnesty Now". So what do we do? Well, here is where politics come in. The new immigration reform bill will offer some type of legalization, but it will not be instant legalization. It will probablly be one similar to the last one, just without the stupid rules like touchback provision. This is called "compromise". You see, there are liberals and conservatives, and moderates. There are enough of liberals to block deportation and enough conservatives to block amnesty. The moderates play a key role in the debate obviously, but unless the reform is a true compromise, nothing will happen, which is why the CIR failed. Now, instead of wasting your time(both you liberals and conservatives) we should come together with a plan that has support of both sides. Yes it may be legalization, but it will be one with a fine perhaps. What do you think?

Hi! I am filling the Indian Passport form after reading the guidelines given in the form. There are so many columns which are not applicable to me, for example, change of name, any criminal proceedings etc. what should I do with these columns? whether should I left it BLANK or fill with "Not Applicable" / "None" / "N.A." thanks.
