I guess any excuse is better than none when those that blame illegal immigrantes saying that american citizens can't find jobs anymore thanks to iilegal immigrants, i would tell them like it is: why don't they get up of the couch and stop being a couch potato and go outside and find a job today instead of putting the blame on somebody else.why dont they get tired(which it may never happens)of be waiting of social services checks they get montly and do something for they country someday like find a job and keep it instead to blame iilegal immigrants for everthing bad that happens to them.. tell me today what's wrong with the white man when he feels and acts like a couch potato all day waiting for a miracle to happen...while immigrants are busting their backs to make their money...legal or illegal,regardless you have to work,that's what makes a man a real man not a lazy couch potato...thank you..

This has been a long struggle, but, finally, my fiance has his visa to travel from Pakistan to USA. It has costed so much to come this far. The problem is: My resources are almost exhausted. I have only $1000 left and we need to purchase an airline ticket. I have searched online for days.but can't find a suitable flight OR fare. Any suggestions? my family and i are legal immigrants. we are thankful to live in the u.s.; to have a good job and a good home. we are greatful to this country for all these opportunities that are avail to all but if you are an immigrant you can understand, that you wish that your homeland didn't have the corrupt govt that it does (for me it's mexico). people don't want to come here illegally; and some wish they never had to leave their home, but because you seek a better life for you and yours -sometimes you just have to leave in order to survive. so, what can be done to change a corrupt govt; a govt that has been like that for centuries, and that it's ruled by a network of mafia that just won't let go. how can you change it to be a democratic govt and for people to have choices and opportunities for all, where do we start?

Any ideas why Indians maybe denied Ukrainian visas for "invitation letters" they got from agencies in Ukraine?
This lady from Ukraine who works with OdessaApts.com says, "We have had a number of Indian citizens who have attempted to get invitation letters from Ukraine and were denied Visa requests." Earlier, she said, "You may not be able to visit Ukraine being a citizen of India." This is regarding getting a Ukrainian visitor visa for an Indian citizen living and working in the US. She frightened me. It looks like I cannot visit that country, but I don't see why, because offically I don't see any problems. No website says there are any problems with Indians getting visitor visas to Ukraine. The diplomatic relations between the two countries are fine, and Ukrainians happen to benefit more from trade with Indians than Indians do from them. I'm wondering if the invitation letter will have to come from Ukraine itself or if it can come from any any agency within the US that works with Ukrainian visas and travel. Also wondering why those Indians were refused visas, if not for their ethnicity!

You know you are insulting every single person that came here legally. This may include your cousin or brother that decided that following the law in the US is the thing to do.. showing respect for the people whom already live here. By coming here illegally you are insulting this country, making yourself look like an @ss and breaking the law... YES YOU BROKE THE LAW and if you are deportd and your child is still here as a Us citizen, can't you see its your fault? You made the decision to break the law you made the decision to have a child here.

Several Hispanic organizations are gathering steam to speak out against illegal immigration and I'd like to hear from them. As an example, Rosanna Pulido represents "You Don't Speak For Me" in Chicago and has been inundated with support of citizens (who happen to be of Hispanic descent and speak both English and Spanish) in agreement with the cause. FYI, I'm fully in favor of LEGAL immigration, provided immigrants learn English, pledge allegiance to no other nation but the U.S., believe in education over labor, resist gang affiliations, etc. We are a nation of immigrants. Period. But there must be a system of law and accounting.
