Timeline for citizenship?
Ok guys, my lawyer told me that the govt has reduced the timeline for citizenship from 5 yrs to 3 yrs after you get your green card, but i don't believe him. Is this true, and is there a link where i can read it?

To "PRO IMMIGRANTS" - I am against people coming to our country...?
illegally and the politicians who allow it to happen. We have no idea of the background of these people. Many use up benefits without having paid into the system that provides it. It is clearly against the law and not in our best interest. Where is the RACISM in that statement??

Can you remember that it is rude not to speak our language if you are intent on staying here? Can you remember you have moved to England and stop opening polish shops/library sections/etc here which again is in your language only.

To all those who defend illegal immigration by using God, and say no human is illegal?
What happened to Give unto Ceasar what is Ceasars? Isn't that a Holy order to obey the Government and give them their due? Such as pay your taxes, obey their laws, and pay the monies they demand. Coming here requires a legal process, the required fees, and agreement to pay your taxes. The illlegals do none of these things. You defend them by using God, but you won't admit to Gods command to obey the Governments of the World until the coming of Christ to begin His rule under his laws. You claim that our laws are immoral and our desire to keep them out is immoral because of their children. My question is: Are your arguments in favor of the illegals truly based on the Bible and God, or are you interpreting the Holy Scriptures to reflect your own views and only acknowledging the parts of the Bible which back your opinion? You can bash me or explain your stance. Explaining may prove something for your side. Bashing will only prove I am right, showing that for you, God is a tool.

my boyfriend plans on going to college here in Indiana and he also plans on living here with me. I hear that you have to live in a state for a year to become a resident... if we got married would he automatically become a resident? or does he still have to wait

To get citizenship, should an immigrant stay in the U.S. for 5 years straight?
I know that in order to be eligible for citizenship you should have a total of 5 years stay in the U.S. I've been staying here for 2 years now. Lately I've been missing my family so much and been wanting to visit home. Some people say I can't leave the country until I've been here for a straight 2 1/2 yrs, others say its 3 yrs, few said I can leave anytime. Can anyone help me with immigration and naturalization rules? Thanks!

A. have a blonde chick from europe come here illegally and have lots of kids and get a unemployment check OR B. a nice young eager latino coming here illegally wanting to work gets a job helps the US economy and does not ask for a check? no rude answers plz ^_^
