I am British, can i legally work in Palestine/Israel?
I am British, currently living by visa in Palestine/Israel with my Palestinian husband. I want to know if i am legally able to get a job here and begin earning money? I mean do i have to get a 'Working permit' or the Palestinian or the Israeli Authorities permission? I have looked on the web but have come up empty as what to do. If anyone has information, website, etc that can help me it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. xx

I am Carribean and want to marry my pregnant English partner, how do I go about it please?
I was here on a work permit until March 2008 but unfortunately have lost my passport and am awaiting a new one. My partner and I have been discussing marriage, and now we have found out that she has become unexpectedly pregnant! We have looked into a fiancee visa for which we would be eligible, but do I have to return to the Carribean first as some say? Does having a pregnant partner/child make any difference? Any advice would be appreciated, we desperately want to stay together!

I am flying from the US to the UK to visit friends. I will be packing my PC Tower. Can I do that?
I plan on packing my PC Tower in my suitcase with my luggage. Also my camera and other things. Now I know people get crazy about this stuff. Is this going to be a problem? Are there any other computer related stuff that may be a good idea to know what may be a problem? I also plan on disconnecting my HD and taking with me in carryon luggage. I don't want anything to happen to it. Will that also be a problem? I am not taking my monitor with me. Items I am packing together will be... 1) PC Tower 2) Keyboard 3) Mouse 4) Webcam 5) Computer Speakers 6) Computer Microphone Also, don't give me the lecture on different voltage requirements in the UK. I am already aware. I know I need to purchase a seperate power cord for the PC in order for it to work & I need to set the voltage setting in the back of the power supply. I DO have a voltage converter for the speakers & my friend has a monitor where I am going. My Video Card supports other monitors at different rates.

I am in a bit of a dilemma, need some help.?
Ok, so here is my problem...my parents were not considerate enough to have me born in the U.S. Both my parents were born in Northern Maine on a bordering town of Canada. My fathers family lived in Canada, so him and my mom moved out of Maine and into Canada for about 4 years...unfortunately they had me born there, and once I was born, the next year they moved back to Maine...bad timing I know. So now I am about to turn 16, am wanting to get a job, get my drivers license, and open up a bank account. Too bad doing that is all nearly impossible when you are considered a "alien". I have a social security card, but a canadian birth certificate, and have lived here for over 14 years. I read on the homlenad security site that if BOTH parents are born in the U.S., then the child is automatically considered a U.S. Citizen, but the people my parents have talked to over the phone have stated otherwise. So would somebody who knows what they are talking about please help me out.
