When people become afraid, and consumed with fear
they start picking on things. They start looking for things or places to place their fear. Instead of dealing with the fear, it's projected out (look at the division happening in this country, we are attacking each other). What is lost is.we are all in this together, we should be helping each other instead of behaving like scared children

Why do the illegal immigrants expect us to teach their children in their native language, why do they want us to sing our National Anthem in Spanish. The US did not steal any land from Mexico, this land was won by the Americans in the Mexican American war.
I, nor do most Americans want illegal immigrants, no matter which country they came from, to come here avoid paying taxes, saturate our prisons with their criminals, burden us with welfare and free medical. We are citizens and we can not avoid taxes, medical care is not exactly free most of those on welfare have a share of cost for their medical costs.

It isn't that we hate anyone. All we ask is that if you want to come to this country that you respect our laws. In fact I think the illegals are the racists, they come here in violation of our laws and expect to be handed health care and education on a platter. It's kind of like stowing away on a cruise ship and then demanding the free buffet.

It is not the legal immigrants from Mexico but the illegal immigrants from anywhere that are the problem. Also there isn't a country in the world today that wasn't once occupied by somebody else. After all the Middle East used to be occupied by Jews, Pagans and Christians until Islam took over and forced them convert, die or flee.

I don't have a problem with anyone. If you want to come to the United States you need to get your citizenship. That is what most people have problems with. Illegal aliens take jobs from legal citizens. There are people in my community that don't have a job because the factory they worked in has moved to a south American country. Yet there are factories in this area that employ about 1000 illegals. I would say that is why a lot of people are hostile at least where I'm from.
How would you like complete strangers to live in your house, eat your food, go to your doctors, use your schools and have you pay for all and not compensate you for any of it? The problem is not hate. The media has hyped up the hate. The problem is what is right and legal and what is wrong and illegal. All the US is attempting to do is have the laws governing its borders and those who cross them be comparable to the rest of the world. Also, only some illegal aliens are here for good purposes. An equal or greater amount are here for drugs, human trafficking, gang related and other illegal actions. 12 to 4000 US citizens die at the hands of illegal aliens each day. More are victims of crimes by illegal aliens each day.
Admitted the US and its elected officials have aided the problem by not attempting to solve it for a hundred years. Just because they have allowed a wrong, does not make it a right to continue the wrong. Mexico is the border of crossing. Geography leads to Mexico getting some of the blame. Especially when the Mexican govenment hands out guidebooks for illegal aliens and smugglers to best use the US system of government to thier advantage upon arrival.

i don't know why so much hatred is toward them, and they keep talking about getting their papers before they come over. my husband is now in mexico caused by all this immigration crap. it has torn our family apart. my husband works in construction down there so he can come home. people don't understand how much they get paid in a day. my husband makes only $10 dollars a day doing 10 hours of work. if they want their papers do you know how much time it will take to make 10,000 pesos, and how many years. they will be old and gray. they can't even afford to help their mothers out when she is sick. people need to know more about what they are talking about before they start hating someone

Your question insults the intelligence of any thinking person by asking us to accept its basis that anyone concerned about over-population/immigration harbors hatred towards not just illegal Mexicans, but Mexicans in general, or as you put it, "people from Mexico" and "anyone that speaks spanish", and that this hatred is brought on by a "superiority" complex.
It also asks us to accept the notion that any such concerns automatically invalidate, through hypocrisy, an American's own US citisenship (being that they were themselves immigrants of European ancestry, be it so many generations ago and in a much different political age).
Both of those are garbage and I reject your question altogether because of them.

How do you think that people became Mexicans? The Spaniards came to Mexico and settled, then they procreated with the indigenous. That is how Mexicans came about. New Mexico,California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona did belong to Mexico befor the Mexican-American War nearly 160 years ago.

The Aztecs (from mexico) were here BEFORE the Spanish came and conquered so technically it was their land. They owned what is NOW Mexico. But it also belonged to China at one point.
