Yes, there is no way we are going to fix this problem because who is going to build the wall if all illegals are deported? Duh! lol ha ha...and because American companies or business will continue hiring illegals to save money and make more profit. They can not find 3 terrorists let alone deport thousands of illegals. Instead they need to find a way to let the ones here stay and become legal and then fix it so Mexico can be as organized and as a likeable place as America...hey, by the way you notice that a lot of the rich white folks go to mexico to retire? I hope there is a solution. I think we should look at the root of the problem. That would be Mexico. You don't see Canadians hopping the border. We need to put some kind of pressure on Mexico to improve conditions for their own people. Don't know if it would work, but it's nice to think it would.

As one that doesn't support amnesty, but can read the handwriting on the wall. As time goes on the baby boomers will dwindle, and those who are from Hispanic backgrounds will gain more and more power due to the pure numbers, and those will bring over more and more of their families and friends and being that Latin American is so close amnesty is just been postponed until a later date. The real question is how much is enough, how much poverty can be import before we become the mirror image of those countries that are coming both illegally and legally. Well said, it's a problem that will never be eradicated...There are lots of ways things could be improved, depending on who you talked to and what their opinion on the matter is...some say we should just embrace the immigrants and make it easier for them to be legal and pay taxes, some say let's build a wall (like that's really gonna stop the problem-yeah right), people have all kinds of ideas depending on their personal feeling of their view of how America should be. But will it ever end? No. And I don't feel negatively towards anyone's individual opinion on this matter-This is why we live in America, we are free to think and speak what we will.
However, the only opinion I do have a comment to make about is the alarming number of people who make the remark we should just open fire on anyone crossing the border. It's frightening that there are that many people in my native country who see nothing wrong with murdering people who are not committing a violent crime...Makes me wonder how many future murderers we have in the making in this country-Hey, I don't like what someone is doing, hell, just kill them.That's a scary opinion for so many people to have, it shows how little respect for human life some Americans have.

This can be changed it just needs the right moves to accomplish it. Read the following The fourteenth amendment does not need adjustment it needs proper interpretation it does not allow for rights for the parents of the child born in the United States. My state is doing just that and they are scooping up the illegals and telling them "you are being deported and you can either take your kids with you or you can make arrangements for them to stay here with a person who is legal". I'd suggest one other thing, make being caught in the United States illegally a felony and that would shut the door for the opportunity to ever be a citizen (as I understand the law) or just have the law changed as to if you are caught here illegally you will forfeit the right to ever be a United States citizen. This coupled with the other measures (going after employers who employ them), no financial aid unless you are a U.S. citizen would remove all incentive for them to be or come here. I think it's that easy however when both political parties benefit from them being here they are not going to move off center until we apply the proper pressure on them. That is to make the phone calls and to write the letters to our government officials that say that if you do not bend to your constituents will, we will make sure you no longer have your job!! By the numbers I see reflected here this can be done we just need to follow through. It already is happening as I said illegals are being deported in my state. Illegals forgot something that most of us learned in kindergarten don't cut in line!

The solution is right in front of your face.
The reason the last amnesty "never really did anything" is because the laws were not enforced after the amnesty.
Enforce our laws and there will be no illegal aliens.
Prosecute all employers hiring illegal aliens to the fullest extent of the law.
Deny housing to illegal aliens.
Deny any sort of government assistance.
This would be more effective than any wall would ever be.
The question is, will our government ever truly enforce our laws? But don't say there IS no solution...because there is.
If this had been done after the last amnesty we would NOT be where we are today.
Oh, there are solutions and they are only beginning. Hide and watch and you'll see the illegal numbers begin to drop. No one really wants them except bleeding hearts and big business. There are a lot more of us, can't wait until the elections.
