I filed for citizenship through the national Vermont office, how long does the rest of the process take?

I was fingerprinted in Philadelphia in April. If anyone has filed through Vermont and was fingerprinted in Phialdelphia and lives in New Jersey, let me know how your experience went. Thanks.

Although you filed your application with the Vermont Service Center, your application will be finalized & processed with your local immigration office. That won't be the office where your fingerprinting (biometrics) took place, as that is an application support center.. If you have not moved since gaining residency, you will likely receive that interview & things at the office where you received your Permanent Resident interview.

Filing for naturalization takes approximately seven months at most locations. To check the current processing times at your local office, you can log onto the USCIS' website at http://www.uscis.gov .

If you have any questions or concerns, the National Customer Service Center's number is also posted on that website, give them a call as well.

Hope I've helped a bit.. Good luck!!
