A girl on a student visa ask my friend to marry her for money so she can get a greencard.?
Answers:
If the marriage is less than two years old, she will get a green card with conditions, if this happen (99% of the time) they will have to stay married for three years. They have to show proof of been together like bank accounts pictures and those things.
Test, you get at least one interview where they will ask you some really personal questions.
Her greencard with conditions will arrive in about 8 months, however she will be able to work after about thrree months.
your boyfriend needs to make above the federal poverty limits plus some more.
Do you think its fair to Americans to say being illegal has nothing to do with crime?
Why not ask how to rob a bank over the Internet?
Is ethnic diversity good for communities?
Maybe illegal. Definitely immoral.
Sounds like she's actively trying to subvert US law like a common criminal!! I'd tell your friend to report this behavior
Why ain't the goverment telling people about the aliens?
They'd have to stay married about 3 years and pass at least two major interviews with the Citizenship and Immigration Service. They'd have to have things like joint checking and savings accounts, joint auto insurance, joint rental lease or joint mortgage, joint utilities, joint health insurance, file joint income taxes, have the phones and utilities in both their names and own their cars jointly.
If your "friend" gets caught doing it for money he'll most likely serve 5 years in prison and pay a fine of about $50,000.
Who feels that the illegal immigration is out of control?

Yes, the government has started cracking down on this type of thing. If your friend gets caught marrying someone with the intention of circumventing immigration regulations, he will be charged with a crime (not sure what it's called), and heavily fined.
Please, don't let him do it.She can't pay enough for all of the trouble it may wind up costing him.
Do you agree with my thoughts on illegal immigration?
The questions they ask during their interviews are VERY personal. Things like what side of the bed does the other person sleep on, when was the last time they went out..where was it...what did they do.how often do they have "relations". Even things as seemingly unimportant as what style of underwear the other person wears, their shoe size, favortie book, food and movie. They will ask questions about the other persons past, family schooling...you name it they will ask it. And they will ask things that most people would never think of. That's how they get ya. IF she is serious about doing it that way she has to do it all the way. They have to be married in EVERY sense of the word and be able to prove it, before she can get her citizenship. It used to be that after the person became a citizen the marriage time was a year beyond that.it may have changed in the last several years, I haven't looked into it recently. The point is that if there is ANY indication that the marriage is not a "whole" marriage it wont happen and both parties can be in serious legal trouble. Best if she finds somoene who knows the system and how to manipulate it. Someone that knows how to play the game. Someone that knows enoguh about being married to make certain that they both know enough about each other to make it through the interviews.
Alternately she could have a baby and use the childs citizenship to remain here.
