It's not "country folk" who blame Mexicans primarily for illegal immigration, it's any American who has an informed view of the illegal immigration problem.
The statistical facts of where illegals are coming from more than anywhere else (Mexico), which nation's immigrants make up the largest portion of welfare recipients (Mexico), which nationality of immigrants have the lowest ratio graduating high school and pursuing higher education (Mexico), which nationality has the highest ratio of prison inmates (Mexico), which nationality provides the highest number of gang members and outstanding warrants for murders (Mexico), and so on and so forth, ALL POINT TO MEXICO.
It's not ignorance or prejudice.
It's statistical fact.
