Good job Republicans.why are democrats TRYING to sell out Americans?
Answers:
Did the US steal any land from Mexico?
NicoleJ is correct.and to be honest, neither party has the American worker best interestes at heart...it is time for Americans to pull togehter and to start thinking out side the box..You know, We don't sit over here and pat ourselves on the back and talk about what a bunch of good old boys we are. We have the same problem here that exists everywhere else around the world. That in a world of mass communication, the decisions are made by sheep who don't analyze and make decisions -- they take the easy way out. They want to
be -- no, they require being told what do think, what to do, and for whom to vote. So since the decisions are made by the mediocre, the best we can expect out of any government is mediocrity.
Love of one's country is not a show of support for any administration. Far from it. It is a reminder of how badly we need change, before the ideals on which this nation was founded are forever lost. Revisionist history aside, Independence Day is not a show of support for any
administration. It is a celebration of an unprecedented experiment, and a coming together of a set of incredible minds. July 4th, 1776 was a day that forever changed the world for the better. ok, I think I will stop my rant now...lol
its not over yet
Should we report every racist comment we find on here?
If you would take an objective look both republicans and democrats are trying to sell out this nation. We are in a war on this soil and its us the citizens vs the elitist. Round one goes to us who defeated the amnesty bill. Remember as far as amnesty goes if it werent for a republican it would not of been an issue that republican is George Bush
When will I can file for US Citizenship ?
Just keep doing what you're doing. We like legals in this country and we don't care what country they are from. If they are legal they are welcome. Illegals may be trying to help their families but it doesn't mean the have to break our laws to do it.
What kind of immigration bill would you like to see?
Us Republicans will welcome anyone who use their brain rather than spewing rhetoric, yet not coming up with any solutions. You can write to your Senator or Congressperson with your concerns. That would be a good start.
When does the Kennedy-McCain bill get voted on next?
Believe in our country and our laws. Write and phone your representative many times a month reminding them on how you want them to represent you. Secondly, drop the Latino American crap. You are an American first, as long as people put America second in how their heritage is they are putting what is good for America second . You are an American with Latin heritage, plain and simple.
My pass port is misplace by so wht do?
Your have a good point ,They both have sold us out Rep less and the Shamnesty bill was the final straw for the Dems.
If you are not a true Democrat, then if you wish to switch to a bunch of outlaws, war mongers , thieves, corrupt Republican Party. If that is all it takes for you to switch then pull a Joe Lieberman and switch. If you like troops killed by thousands because of a lying Republican President than maybe that is where you belong.
Your switching to a party is going to be dead in 2 years because of a corrupt lying Government than do whatever suits you best.. This Republican President is a complete liar and has caused nothing but corruption , Dictatorship, broke every Constitution that our framers set forth than that is your choice. Everyone has a choice. so have a nice day.
Who do supporters of illegals always bring up the Native Americans?
I am a Democrat also, who like you, reject Amnesty, and free pass legislation. I would not think about voting Republican, since this Immigration thing is all I agree with them about. I think however more voice should be given to Democrats who disagree with our Party's stance on this matter. I can't for the life of me understand my party's hard headed push for Immigration reform as it was presented in that last little attempt to fix the problem. If that were passed, I do believe it would have been the very end of the American Dream.
Are anchor babies the glue that binds illegal immigration to this country?
There's much more to come. Be ready for the fight. They said they'll be back.

Have you read the endgame for illegal alliens?
I know Republican business owners who actually hire illegals. To them it's all about the profit.
Why would you become a Republican over immigration when the leader of that party (the President) strongly supported the bill you oppose, and many of its supporters in the Senate were also Republican? I happen to think that the bill was imperfect but better than what we have got instead--nothing--but it was not a party-line matter.
Now that the immigration bill has been shot down, what do you propose to do about the 13 million, or more, unlawful immigrants who are here now? The bill, though flawed, had a mechanism for dealing with those people. Killing the bill means that we shall have the present system--which you apparently believe to have failed--for at least two more years. That doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
As for border security, it's a good idea to talk about, but how would you do it? Build a fence? How many billions are you willing to spend? Is it more important to build that fence than to provide health care to children who are now uninsured? To secure Social Security? (Those unlawful immigrants pay into Social Security, but they do not get money from the system, so they are paying for your future Social Security, and mine.) Fences that are on the border now have been cut through and tunneled under. How are we going to prevent that? We have trouble supporting the number of troops we now have in Iraq and Afghanistan, where will we get the people to patrol the fence?
Immigration is a complex issue. Simple slogans sound good, but they do not present a real solution.
