well the important thing u need is a visayour employer will arrange u a visa. before that u need to sent your employer your passport details (or copy) photographs and your attested marksheets. the marksheets and certificates should be attested from a UAE embassy near to your city. you may also need attestation from education ministry.
your employer will then send u a copy of entry permit which you will need to show at the local airports in india to gain exit. Remember your entry permit is not your visa.
then inform your employer about your ticket details...time and date of arrival etc. if your employer only arranges the tickets then its very good
once you reach the destination you will have to collect the original entry permit certificate which your employer will deposit at the airport immigration counter prior to your arrival.
It is at the airport that your Visa will be stamped on your passport based on the original entry permit.
Most of the time the crowd ahead of you will lead you or you can ask any co-passenger.
But on arrival on any gulf airport you follow these signs displayed "Passport control" and "Baggage Claim"
At india airports you should reach atleast 2 hours before your flight. firstly you will have to get your luggage screened (hand baggage screening is not needed here).
Then proceed towards the reception desk based on your flight number and carrier (reception counter number is usually displayed on TV's at airports)
here you have to deposit your heavy luggages which is already screened and not hand bags,they will give you a boarding pass. on this pass it will be written from which gate your flight will take off. your next aim is to reach at the gate.
then in the process you will pass through "passport control" where your passport and entry permit will be checked and exit stamp will be marked on your passport.
next stop is another security counter where you hand baggage will be checked and you will be checked by security personnels.
after this you will reach the departure gate. wait here untill plane boarding announcement is done.
in side the plane the air hostess can guide you to your seat.
if its a good aircarrier thy will offer refreshments free of cost.
and yes they will definately ask if you need a veg or Non Veg meal.
This is explained as i have experienced while my dubai visit.
i feel some details about the visa may change depending on the country.
