we english do not hate the amercans at all!!! England has its immigration laws in place the same as moving to any country. It is better if you are a skilled worker such as a nurse or a social worker and we too use the point systems however we look on different cases in different ways just like any other country does!! There are countries where the visa denial is high and America is not one of them. The other opition is to get married to a UK citizen however do this for the right reasons (and it does not mean you become a uk citizen automatically)or get a job offer you said that you wanted to move to do something with your career whereever you go you will have to jump through hoops in order to become a citizen. I saw that you are doing a social work degree babes get it!! the money is good over here for that kind of work and not many people doing it. I have just finished up a job working with people with Mental health the only reason i left it is because i am moving aboard to get married.Study and work in mexico city?

Neither country will refuse you because you are an American. If you have a skill they need you can immigrate there. Canada uses a points system. I don't know how the U.K. does it. Good luck!

You can live there if you want but I don;t know how hard it will be to become a citizen of another country. Contact the American Embassy and they can give you that information.

I'm sorry, but you are not a traitor for wanting to leave. Yes, you are a coward for not wanting to face the problems here. No, not everything will be peachy keen later on, but that is why we must fight for the betterment of the country. WE are the ones who have the ability to affect change. Problems are going to find you no matter how far away you move. Frankly, there's nowhere else in the world I'd rather be than the USA...

You can move anywhere you like... citizenship is always possible. If you have money, education, or family there. If you are short any or ALL of the above why would they want you? More what has our nation done to you personally to make you such a crybaby? We have free enterprise, a global market economy, and the freedoms to persue our dreams... America, love it or don't let the border snap you in your butt on the way across.
Don't you love it. Not only do they call you a traitor but a coward. Moving to another country, I think, is very brave as well as interesting.

It is no easier to come to Canada...not sure where you got that from.Canada has made their immigration laws tighter than most countries...in fact it is harder to get into Canada or Australia than any other country in the world.
