A statement from the organizers says, “With immigration reform legislation apparently dead for this congressional year, immigrant rights leaders in Los Angeles and nearby counties are gearing up efforts to mount the struggle for immigration reform, that is the national efforts to empower the 13 to 15 million undocumented immigrants and their families throughout the presidential campaign.”

Do what you think is right. But, I hope that everyone who is arrested with have their immigration status checked. The laws about hiring illegal immigrants should have been enforced after the last amnesty in 1987.

to me illegal is illegal.. I am glad they are stepping up the ice enforcement. I have no sympathy for the illegals here and am happy to see current laws starting to be enforced. I hope the illegals aliens try to set up protests and if disobedience happens, then people will see who the illegals really are. they are not these great people here with no problems, they are criminals, breaking the law, taking advantage of our social systems, and living off the hard work of all of the legitimate USA citizens.

I think it would be great. Considering I live in S.Cali, traffic would be fairly nice like the last 2 times they protested. Keep up the good job. Maybe before long, all the illegals can protest every day of the week and just work on the weekends. Life would be fantastic for me.

I agree with cece, they're only adding fuel to the fire. I don't know what makes them think that their total disrespect for our great nation is going to get them citizenship. It seems to me all they did the last time was wake America up to the problems they were trying to ignore. People are now demanding that our immigration laws be enforced. ICE should be there to do their job, get the illegals out. Immigration reform, what a laugh. These people backing the march don't get it. I don't think that anyone who is a legal U.S. citizen has a problem with anyone coming here LEGALLY. The problem is that 13-15 million people snuck in the country ILLEGALLY and then demand the same rights and privileges that U.S. citizens enjoy. Tell me how that is fair to those who are going through the proper channels and doing things the right way? Why should my tax dollars go to give someone aid who has come here illegally when there are plenty of legal citizens who need assitance? The illegals should not be allowed to have amnesty. If they want to come into the country, work, LEARN ENGLISH, pay taxes, and become productive members of socitey, then we welcome them. They should have to go back to wherever they came from and apply. If not, then go back and stay there, and try to improve your situation in your own country. If they put as much effort into their country as they do trying to mess up ours I would be willing to be they wouldn't want to come here.

I hope that they continue to hire more ICE agents and that the laws that are in place are actually enforced. The ICE agents are not evil people they are men and women who are doing the job they were hired to do.
I also agree with the others who say it is just adding fuel to the fire. There will be lots of reporters there and everyone will watch this on the news informing more people about the illegals protesting for rights in America while circumventing the very laws that give us those rights.
I think they should all be arrested and charged with treason. They are anti-USA. We don't need immigration reform. We need illegal immigrant lawbreakers to obey the laws and our law enforcement personnel to enforce the laws of the land without regard to personal convictions or race or anything else. The law is the law is the law and it should be enforced.
