What passport does he carry? If he is a British National he should already be a British Citizen. What does it read out in the front of his passport- What embassy or consulate will protect him?

you are contradicting yourself and really confusing us, all.
You said he be a british national - which actually system brit cit ( well, that's what i think) - otherwise, if he is not british (meaning hold a british passport) dont use the term " british national". What are you asking??? You are not giving any of us any clear details and neither you enjoy a clue what you are on about. If you are worried that he will be deported, consequently he is here illegally. I am a british national myslef, hold a brit passport and guess what, I am not worried of being deported!
