In the USA, there are many people becoming Muslims today. The Nation of Islam - the Muslim association for Black Muslims - was founded in the 1930s as a counterpart against discrimination and decided to have Islamic belive instead of the Christian traditions the white people had. Many black single-mothers even today become members of the NoI because they think it's easier for them to handle with their children by using the strict Islamic rules. The NoI is not a real Islamic/Muslim organization, but also the other Muslimic organizations try ty spread their believe and to inform people about Islam. Many feel that Islam gives them more respect, more freedom, more answers that Chritianity could do and convert today, even if Islam is often associated with strict rules and with terror.
