Calderon said at his State of the Union speech Sunday that he would continue to protest “unilateral actions” of the U.S. Congress that “exacerbate the persecution” of Mexican illegal immigrants in the United States. He also said that Mexico does not end at the border because “where there is a Mexican. There is Mexico.”
In a statement, Tancredo quipped: “Indeed part of Mexico is moving into the United States, but unfortunately that includes drug runners, gang violence and the Spanish language supplanting English.”
The lawmaker, famous for his tough stance against illegal immigration, added: “I’m sure the people of Mexico would be extremely grateful if Calderon showed as much concern over the well being of Mexicans unlucky enough to still live there as he does for the people who have successfully fled his country.”http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/s...

So in other words they are up to their necks in poor people and criminals, so they are pouring them into the U.S. And if we put up a fence or stop them from taking out the trash, Calderon is going to lay face down on the border and throw a fit like a 2 yr old until our gov't says...Ohhh, ok, they can eat up our economy.send em over. We'll let the Middle Class Citizens deal with the consequences.Someone needs to tell it like it is instead of sugar coating everything. Sounds like Tom is doing that.

Drug runners wouldn't be entering in the us without american citizens buying drugs, and drug lords aren't illegal, they have visas and even gamble in Las Vegas...go figure...

Well..they are. Hard to ignore the obvious. I too agree if Mexico was so concerned about the welfare of it's citizens...they wouldn't be here. That is of course..unless there's another motive and that's why he's encouraging it. Heck there's Americans in all sorts of countries..doesn't make those countries American. When you leave your country...legally or illegally..you are subject to the laws of those nations. Not just able to reap the benefits.

Tom has little to lose by speaking out and a great deal to gain. I admire that fact that he has the stones to state his views bluntly and to the point. I would not be ashamed to call Tom, President of the United States of America. He is a patriot and a supporter of the Citizens of this Nation.
