After over 40 years working as an NHS nurse, and caring for my handicapped nephew, what should we advise her ?
With her NHS pension, she will not be destitute, and she is healthy and strong, and she has family there. But with the food shortages and violence, we are so worried about her. What can we say to persuade her to stay ?

Immigration problems PLEASE HELP?
A lot of immigrants want to retire in their old country. But they are often targeted by criminals and find things are not what they were when they left. And some return. If it's her dream and this late in life, it should be hers to make. But I would advise her to keep her options open, maybe keep a property on(rented out) so she could return. You think she has no idea of the problems she will face?
She want's to go 'home'. Respect that and let her go.
Why does the government reward illegal immigration?
Ask her quite what she is going back for, family, friends, all must be old or dead now, she has more family, friends here that will look out and care for her. Tell her how much you love her and will miss her terribly if she goes.
Crossing the Border without pending TN Visa?

Suggest that she goes over for a couple of months to see how it goes, with the intention of coming back to sort her life out before returning for good if she wants to.
If she doesn't go, she will always wonder whether she should have gone and fulfilled her dream. If she does go, she should leave the door open for a while so she can come back if it doesn't work out.
Remember Zimbabwe is full of people who actually have a life there - just not the same one we have here. If she decides to stay, respect her decision.
How to apply for a usa tourist visa the easy way?
If her dream is to go back to Zimbabwe and be with her family then let her do that. She's worked hard for a long time - and she's not getting any younger. This has to be her decision. Just show your support as a friend, and keep in touch. Who knows maybe she'll return someday for a visit.
